You will also need your multi-factor authentication (MFA) method to verify your identity. In some cases, you will be asked to answer your security question instead of using MFA.

You will be prompted to verify your identity. If you use MFA, you will also be prompted to complete an MFA challenge. If you don't use MFA, you'll be asked to answer a security question.
After you verify your identity, enter your new password.
If you're having trouble resetting your password, contact your Salesforce admin. The admin's email address will be on the link sent to you via email or any emails with the following:
Subject: Welcome to Salesforce: Verify your account
Subject: Finish resetting your Salesforce password.
If you still cannot find your admin's email, contact your team lead, supervisor or HR team. They will advise you accordingly.
