This process guides you through the user-initiated steps to change your password:
- Navigate to your personal settings by clicking the View Profile icon. If you have uploaded your picture on your profile, the icon will be replaced by your picture.
- Click the Settings link.
- Enter "password" in the Quick Find box, then select Change My Password.
This will launch the Change my password form. The following table explains the purpose of the fields. Mandatory fields are marked with an asterisk.
| Field | Purpose |
|---|---|
| * Current Password | This is your current password. To change it, you must enter it correctly. If you have forgotten your password and can't log in, see Reset your forgotten password. |
| *New Password | This will be the new password you wish to use going forward. The system will give you a suggestive indication on how strong your password is. This is not a guarantee that your password is secure. |
| *Confirm New Password | You'll need to type your new password again. The new password and the confirm password must match. If they don't match, you'll get an error message. |
| New Security Question | This is optional. However, if you wish to also change your security question, you can change it here. |
| New Answer | If you have changed the security question, then you must provide a new answer. |
- Click Save.
