Manage changes to a goal

Lumary DC - This article explains how to manage changes and updates to a client's agreed service goals under a goal attainment plan.

You can manage a client's goals from their client record. You can view, edit, update, reprioritise and delete goals from the Goal Plans tab.

To manage a client's goal:

1. Go to the client's record.
2. Click on the Goals tab.
3. Click on the Goal Plans tab.
4. This will list the goals in the client's current goal achievement plan. You can use the tabs at the top of the list of goals to view active goals and inactive goals.
5. Scroll down to the relevant goal. Goals are grouped from highest to lowest based on priority.
6. Click on the drop-down arrow at the end of the goal panel.
7. The following table explains what you can do with each of the options.

Option	What it does
View	Takes you to the goal record. Shows the details of the goal and a progress feed of all case notes related to this goal.
Edit	Launches the goal in an editable form. All agreed service goal fields can be updated.
Update Status	Sets the status of the goal. The following options leave the goal on the Active Goals list: Not Started, and In Progress. These options will send the goal to the Inactive Goals list: Achieved (selecting this option requires you to record the Date Achieved) On Hold, and No Longer Required. The status appears as a label on the goal panel.
Change Priority	Updates the priority level of the goal. Higher priority goals are more visible, as they appear closer to the top of the Active Goals list.
Delete	Deletes the goal record.
